Ok, so this is a Really? Come On! moment in the day of the life of Gina. So, thanksgiving isn’t that big of a holiday in my fam, so a few of us usually just go out to eat at a giant buffet. ok, cool.
So we did that, and I go up to the turkey carving station and stand inline, and when it gets to be my turn, I notice that the turkey is virtually all gone, just little pieces of scraps left on the cutting board. I’m all depressed by this, but just then a waiter came up behind me with a whole new turkey.
Yes. Success. So I say to the carver, “Turkey please!” with a big smile on my face (the other option was ham)…so he goes “sure!”….and proceeds to scrape up the turkey shards leftover from the old turkey and gives it to me. I was too much in shock to express my discontent, so I just walked away with my shards of old turkey. Really? Come on!
