My school held a 'midnight madness' event last night which is a school spirit/basketball give-a-way event. Basically, if you're name was called you got to participate in an embarrassing game, but in the end you would win over $100. The whole event lasted about 5 hours, and was held in our school gym.
Well, towards the end of the night after my name STILL hadn't been called, I went upstairs for FIVE minutes to get a chicken finger, and when I went back into the gym everyone was turning to me and saying "YOUR NAME WAS CALLED WHERE WERE YOU!?" ...so someone else was picked to go in my place. I just lost out on potentially alot of money. REALLY? COME ON!!
